Between every Superman having the idenity Superman by default, having 20+ superman's to power up with, the new 6 drop supes, and cards like double play that arent jank in a deck where every single character has the same name/identity....

sounds like its a viable match..

Hell- taking up the mantle effectively gives any characters w/o the identity superman the identity plus a 1/1 counter.

if you read on the FAQ it says that if there is no <> the identity is simply the name.

there for it may as well read
superman <> superman, red
superman <> superman, blue
etc...

I'm thinking Adrian Chase <> Vigilante + Superman ~ Returned + Superman ~ Earth 2.
