Well, there's the Obvious Superman and Spider-Man instances.
With Supes, they needed human DNA, since cloning Kryptoinians was too unstable. With Spidey, I seem to remember them collecting samples somehow, but I'm not sure when or why.
Cable and Deadpool went up against some cloned C-Listers recently. They were grown in Vats from genetic material.
It seems like Magneto spontaneously produces a clone every few years. It's like he's reproducing asexually. Maybe Stu can do that. :)
In comics they probably don't even specify, they just wave a, in this case, sock about while practicing their patented Evil Laugh #5 and exclaiming "Infinite Fikes!"
Then the next frame you see a hive-like lab with cocooned Ryans in various foetal poses and a "Six months later" tag.
What I want to know is, which super-evil villian, with plans for world domination thinks about the nappy (daipers for your US folk) bill?
And what with all the getting up for feeds in the middle of the night, there's not much taking over of the puny human masses happening.
Aside:
In VS can you play a card in a tournament that has had it's image altered? If you want to efface Multiple Man with a pic of Stubarnes, would that card be legal?
Well, since Ure really interested in cloning, here's the problem I've been having.
The DNA sample will help you reproduce a replica of a person; however, it is proving to be very difficult to create an exact clone of the person. I've been attempting it for the past seven years, and the problem I keep getting into is that the learned information, which is very crucial, isn't there and that creates a major problem in creating a clone and defeats the purpose of cloning. Unless, your intent is to just develop a lasting bloodline (which is the other cloning project I’m working on for this BIG client in Italy).
See that's where the problem comes in. I had thought of the same thing, except of making it of the opposite gender (boy that was interesting tweaking of the DNA strand, but not too difficult), but apparently I forgot to alter the gene for “attraction” and the clone still desired the female gender (not to say that it wasn’t interesting) thus proving the process to be a minor failure. Sigh, all the cloning is taking too much funding and the Feds are getting a little suspicious about why I’m ordering all these chemicals for testing human genetics.
Well testing has to stop for a little while, I need to spend sometime on the New Naruto and Idenity Crisis sets coming out. Maybe I'll get back into Genetic Cloning next month. My next project is to attempt to clone Michael Jackson without the freakiness.
Btw, I set my ebay snipping software to outbid you unto $1500.00.

That doesn't change the fact that this still doesn't belong in General Discussions.
Why are you so touchy as of late? Criticizing people's on-topic threads/posts, calling others racists but condoning their deaths, posting Dear Billy letters... learn a lesson from Niles... this is the Internet... CHILLAX.
