Am I the only one who is thoroughly dissapointed with the legacy content for GL in this set. Green Lanterns played a very important role in the Crisis books and the fact that arkham and gotham got so many cards when they already have been collecting legacy for so many sets just annoys me. They could have atleast gave Kilowog a decent leader power. Does anybody agree?
well, consider that arkham and gotham are rotating out of silver age as DC Origins goes bye-bye, they need all the help they can get....but you are right, that Kilowog looks like a starter deck 4 drop, with no text, average stats and small willpower...
No, Silver Age is the last 8 sets. GL is still perfectly alive.
That said, GL didn't really need much, as GLock is still a powerful deck, AND they got a lot last set via DA, so it's not surprising they didn't get much this srt.
i agree. why did they bother printing this card if it is so bland, especially since Kilowog is one of the heavy hitters for the corps? a leader ability would have been nice. like a +1 to willpower of all adjacent characters.

Uhm... you mean DC Modern? Silver Age has only been at all different from Golden Age with the legalization of the X-Men set, and the IC set means we're going into the Silver Age season with both Origins sets illegal for the SA format.
Anyhow, Kilowog... I'm surprised about this one. He's got no effect, a Willpower below the GL's 'threshhold' value of 3, and only slightly above-average stats. He's blatantly mediocre, just like the 3-drop Hal Jordan, who at least had the magic amount of Willpower. He might see play at a casual level since he's one of the stat-heaviest GL's at the drop. Otherwise, it really feels like a waste of a slot in a set where Willpower is otherwise ignored.
Yes, that Kilowog is horrible. I'm a pretty big GL fan and that is totally disappointing. I can understand the empty text box but he should've been like a 10 or 11 attack with 6 or 7 defense to represent his physical strength.

Do you feel like "Ally" was kind of ignored too? I was looking for some big boosts for JLA Ally and really didn't get much. I didn't count myself but a friend said that we only have 5 new cards with "Ally."

I think he was wrong and it is actually just those 4. I did a word search for "Ally" and only came up with those 4 too. Okay, so even less support that I initially thought. :disappoin :disappoin :disappoin
He really should have had a leader effect that gave people WP that were next to him, if he gave out +2 wp to adjacent he might have even been playable, by letting little guys Reborn. As is He is just a F/R 8/7 with 2 Wp (Funny in MOR a 8/7 F/R would have been pretty good, but cause hes a GL you just assume they all have it.
