Is UDE starting a trend of not giving old teams legacy contents or something? And the two teams that they chose this time around are two of the teams that needed the most help. Instead, they wastee set space making useless cards for already strong teams(see Return of Donna Troy). Any reason why they are doing this?
if I remember correctly, new gods got a very nice boost via DJL, so they porbably didnt want to release a legacy card that would have little to nothing to do with either infinite crisis or crisis on infinite earths. As for darkseid, his entire team is getting a revamp come DLS so no need to worry about them.
Darkseid's Elite is getting a revamp in the new set. The Titans had some cards in this set because a whole lot of them were key players in the Crisis. As for the New Gods, I think R&D just plain gave up on them.
I would have loved some sort of non-team stamped support for the Cosmic keyword, or a Cosmic search card in the vein of Join the Club!/Bloodhound. But then again, hopefully somelike like that could appear in the Galactus set.
I can't agree with that MHG statement. What is one of the teams? DOOM. From the cards that we've seen of the Heralds team, Galactus looks to be a control team along the lines of Doom. It looks to be a very control set, I love it.
Originally posted by grendal Also since this is a storyline set NG and DE were left out because they really had no part in it.
So, if you liked DSM enough to buy New Gods cards or you brought them because you wanted to play, you know, a team you liked from the comics, its tough luck?
This is no way to do things! How does this encourage people to play this game if five months down the line they will abandon their latest ideas?
