I know we have talked about a few times on here but eriously. They gave us Hellboy and yeah cool and everything. but seriously..i know 4-5 people in my town, where no one plays VS except for me and my friend, who would seriously spend money on the cards if their was a Sin City. Its not that they dont like VS, its just they want to play Sin City because well they love the comics and movie. So, who agrees, disagrees that a Sin City starter should be made soon?
It's very cool that we're getting Hellboy and it'd be just as cool if we got Sin City as well... But come on... seriously... who cares about those when we could have...
Battle Pope! That's right, let it be heard here, we want a Battle Pope starter!
Man that Battle Pope starter would be awsome, I can see cards already:
Kiss the Ground
PT
Exhaust a Battle Pope character
All other Battle Pope Characters get +1 Att per locations you control
Excomunication!
Location
Activate-> If your opponent is not christian, you can kick him in the nuts. Use this ability only once per turn and only if you control a Battle Pope character.
Sin City would be cool, but what we really need is THE TICK! C'mon, who wouldn't want to play with The Breadmaster... The Man-Eating Cow... the Midnite Bomber What Bombs At Midnite...
Not to mention plot twist possibilities like "Spoon!"; "Can't.. Do... Plaid..."; & "Fire Me, Boy!"
I think Hellboy is going to awesome, and gives me hope that someday The Tick can happen! ;)
Aliens vs Predator would also be welcome to me :) Bats has beaten the preds and Supes has handled the aliens, and since both were handled by Darkhorse, maybe there is hope.
And for whoever thinks VS should stay just superheroes, I'll refer you to every argument I've ever made about how the subject matter of the game should be respected more and how every debunker of said argument has tried to stress the lack of importance of comic book characters on the game.
I'll take this chance to remind folks of how the old decipher star wars game was an awesome game, and after lucas snatched it away for his own company to produce, decipher tried to use the old game as a skeleton for a new game NOT tied to a property. You can now find packs of WARS for .50 or less depending on where you look ;)
AvP is a comic property. Thundercats are also.
Buffy and Angel thrive in their 4 color worlds these days.
What would it hurt the game to have more fans able to play with characters that they enjoy?
Marv could be a seven, hartigan could be a seven, Kevin could be a seven drop, Senator Rourke(I think its the senators name or I have Mickey Rourke stuck on the mind lol) but i mean their are endless probabilities and btw...there is WAY WAY WAY morecharacters than just in the movie..also.....
i dont know if u guys know this but Frank Miller has also helped out with the X-Men comic and might hlep witht eh new origins comic for Wolverine...
Oh, I know there are a ton of characters, but it is all street level. I guess if they give Batman a 7, normals are allowed to get anything really.
And as for Frank Miller (god among men) he has touched many great books, and each one flourished under him. Hulk, Daredevil, Batman, Wolverine, Etc.... a lot of batmans and Wolverine being as popular as they are now is directly due to Frank Millers handling of them.

Those properties, while they would be extremely cool and all, are owned by Hasbro and are thus out of reach of all companies save WOTC. Shame really. The Transformers would be awesome. We could even have a team-up PT with the Spider-Friends.
