Dr. Fate's Tower
, Location- When you flip Dr. Fate's Tower, you may discard a card. If you do, search your deck for a Fate Artifact card, reveal it, put it into your hand, and shuffle your deck.
- Backup: Activate Transfer all equipment on a character you control to another character you control. Use this power only during the build phase.
John Henry Irons ~ Steel, Steel-Drivin' Man
, JLA/Team Superman - Character 8/11- Flight
- Range
- Reservist
- When John Henry Irons comes into play, you may put an equipment card with cost 1 or less from your hand or KO'd pile into play equipping target unequipped character you control.
- KO an equipment you control Power-up target attacker or defender you control.
So, the question is simple. Put an equipment on Steel with his ability, then after that resolves, use Fate's Tower to transfer more equipment on him, specifically, the trio of Fate Artifacts. Is this legal, why or why not?
Also, what if I chain Steel's ability with Fate's tower in order to do the same thing. Steel says target unequipped character, but Fate resolves first, then Steel's. Does it once again check for legality?
unless you have peir 4 and team up Supes (or Steels other afil) and F4.
you cannot put more than 1 equipment on a character unless you have an effect that allows you to do so. (Peir 4 and the Fate Artifacts are the only ones i can think of at the moment)
if you have the P4 thing going you can put the Equip. onto Steel and then transfer the Fate Artifact onto Steel. the Fate Artifacts effects allows for any number of said artifacts to be on a character so:
Peir 4 allows for Non-Fate Artifact + Fate Artifact; then the Fate Artifact allows for the other Fate Artifacts
(i beolive that this is all in the FAQ for Crisis as well)
