So with the release of the last new sets I've been trying to build a GK curve deck that actually works... and so far I might have it almost down.... but after seeing the new Talia and the ability to put Alfred into play for free sounded really enticing. Now after building the deck and playtesting it I have come to the conclusion that I need a little more consistant... heres a list... gimme some help if you dont mind...
how does this beat agl or faces in any way.... no flame trap in golden age means an auto win for your opponent... unless you have the same strategy as them obv... It looks good to me as far as a janky my beloved can go but the days of curve decks are well past... in truth there has been a DEATH IN THE FAMILY >_< ( horrible)
Honestly not that many people around my area play AGL or Faces... actually I'm normally the person playing the rush decks... but like I said its in the playtesting phases... I played an Avengers deck with it tonite and got stomped on every game... so if anyone would like to contribute to the deck with a little feedback it would be appreciated...
first off you need those traps even as a one of ...
second ... alfred is never going to get his ability off unless you drop him turn one even with talia hes going to be the target of alot of atks.
3) your not running a single assasin init ...drop the spoiler and the tiger for this guy as he helps you so much against weenies
4) 3 drops should have ubu in there... but as your not even going to hit a league 1/2 drop i see why hes not. Huntress is better then creeper anyday and alt should be hook
5) as im 100% sure your going to have a GK dude on the board turn 4 go balls out with cassie, her ability is the nuts and as an alt 4 drop run one copy of rals ( the non loyal one) also i just realized that you should run a copy of the 4 drop dick grayson as he could #### over weenie decks so bad with his effect.
6) its turn 4 and i dont see how your going to have a LOA guy out for the team up.. it seems to be more of a GK deck thus far... your 5 drop should be lady shiva as her ability is nuts and forces team atks ... and haveing talia just there for alfred when alfred should not even be in the deck is ... not really that great as how are you going to discard alfred first off and secondly how are you going to keep him around?
7) turn 6 should see bane as he kicks ass, but as you only run lady shiva as the 7 ... i would run the 6 drop ras as you have it and the dick grayson
8) you have to run one copy of ras 8 just in case.
now for the pumps and what not
Please for the love or god lose the dynamic duo ... as why are they there in the first place... lose forbidden and blood as they are pointless also get no mans instead i guess... or better yet get beatdowns as Mybeloved has to be an agro deck.
1xBatcomputer
1xGCPD Headquarters
1xLazarus Pit
1xLeslie Thompkins's Clinic drop all of these as they dont meet MY BELOVEDS strategy at all really... and u need more of the flying fortress as its an awesome pump and more so you need more tower of babel ....
think of the strategy of the deck first off. Lazarus pit is meant for a recover strategty and combos with pit of madness. GCPD and dynamic duo are meant to be with the brave and bold strategy so that you can team atk a teams board ko them and have non of your guys stunned.
Good idea just needs to be refined a lil. Talk to me if you want more help .. Hope i was helpful at all >_<
ahh detective work forgot about that card if you have any room at all try to fit that in, stops mega blast and flying kicks and nets you a card . good stuff
My Beloved can go basically ANY way you want. It's just a combination of GK/LOA, so whatever works there...
Alfred, obviously, is a god. He grabs your plots and equips. Demon's Head grabs locations. Bat-signal and Mountain Stronghold search your characters. I see a toolbox deck.
You COULD make this Silver, but you lose to much.
I honestly like the feild of stunned characters approach, combined with a toolbox of course. Use Laz Pit and Les's Clinic to keep them around. Pit of Madness gives you a nasty pump. And Dual Nature sneaks in Alfred when you don't want to protect a certain stunned guy anymore. Bronze Tiger is a beast in this deck. Ragman is nasty (both his new SP versions). And of course, GK/LOA staples. Searches, Fizzle. Maybe more permission (fizzleness) and KO to control what your opponent can do. The sky is the limit. Dream on!
For a lazerous - madness pit / tiger deck the new 2 drop talia from IC might be a nice add, also might put out the early fodder for a late dual nature alfred.
