Well us Checkmate players I think are moving more and more towards Threat Neutralized, it takes up space sure, but it will keep us alive when it comes to people trying to KO Ahmed or Maxwell and it will seriously hinder Dr.Light based decks *Cough GLock *Cough

Or we could, y'know, just activate The Science Spire. Just sayin'.

yea but for Science Spire to be effective you need #1 A Villans United Character #2 A Team-Up #3 A Science Spire, not to mention threat works in your advantage in two ways (as said with Dr.Light based decks), and with the new rule it gives Threat even more reason to be played (Wanna Die for Darkseid that AGL, alright because you're not getting it back on 4), I just think that Threat is a great utility card that let's us not have to worry about anyone KO'ing Ahmed on 3 or 4 and it says no to Dr.Light+Kyle (I hate you Kyle, I hate you so much)

Hehe, went to a PCQ a week or so ago with my Squad deck and loaded Deadshot in as a silver bullet. Turn six rolled around and after it looking like I was going to lose the game, I stole it compleatly back :grin:

I can guarrentee from now on, hes teaming up Villians the first chanse he gets :p

Sidenote: if anything, people would be building towards the more agressive Checkmate rather then the merlin one. You need everything on the board to be locations, otherwise, Merlin loses his function in the deck.
