Of course, this isn't completely 100% confirmed, but they sound pretty confident.

I haven't seen him in any movies so no comment on acting. Still, Begins' cast was pretty much perfect so I'm not too worried.

Heath Ledger is a good actor, so it might be a good choice. I actually kind of picture somebody like Johnny Depp playing Joker, but it's all good.

Is it just me or is Heath Ledger too "pretty boy" to be the Joker? Maybe the makeup will make him unrecognizable.

Oh, and gear up for the inevitable "Brokeback Gotham" jokes and videos.

Actually, one guy on IMDB showed me a picture of Heath with an evil grin and it was so similar to the Joker it was kinda freaky.

I pictured Johnny Depp as Two-Face.

I don't know if he can be Joker but no doubt about it he is a good actor.

Funny enough, he could actually be, The Joke, The Riddler, or Two-Face.

Robin Williams will make an excellent Joker.

See, I would rather see Johnny Depp playing Two-Face out of all of those. I could stand him being Joker, 'cause I'm sure he would do an amazing job acting. However, for Riddler, I just can't imagine seeing someone playing him and not being dissapointed in comparison to Jim Carrey. Personally, I think it would be awesome if they got Carrey again for the Riddler whenever he shows up in the new run of Batman movies. His acting was probably my third favorite of any Carrey movie, after Eternal Sunshine and Truman Show.

I foresee Riddler being a problem, though. I'd be surprised if they went with Carrey for the role, and I'd be baffled if anyone else can hold a candle up to his job of playing that character.

(Too bad the actual movie itself blew big donkey chunks, 'cause Riddler definitely makes the movie worth watching.)

He would make an excellent choice since he said he would try to make the character darker than in previous incarnations like Spacey did with Lex.

I can't remember what moive it was, co-starred Al Pacino, but Robin Williams was a different person in that movie, it was really cool.
