What is the strangest/ weirdest thing an opponent has done during a VS game?

Mine would be about a certain Pro Player who will remain nameless.

During a Marvel Knight Prerelease I watched him eat not one but 2 boogers straight from his nose to the mouth. ECK!
The worst part is that he stared at the one nose goblin for at least 10 seconds before sliding his finger in his mouth.

I have seen literally a tantrum on the game floor saying "that wasn't leagal.. It's not, it's not it's not"

then pouted when the judge gave in a game warning.

Can't say that tops yours though. LOL

I think the weirdest thing I have is pretty lame, but oh well.

My opponent wouldn't stop calling me sir, after everything he did or said he said 'sir' at the end of it as if I were some english lord or something.

It started to creep me out by the end, I still play with the guy occasionally too, and he doesn't even do it anymore.

Was the guy from Utah?

Because I think I played a guy like that... always saying "Thank you, sir" and "sorry, sir" and stuff like that.

two of my teamates have picked up this habit as well, must be an epidemic. I actually find it kind of funny.



I have had many oponents do wierd things against me but one of the funniest was at 10k philly when i was playing against a sentinels player and i gamma bombed on 7, apoc on 8, and then antimonitor on 9 and he YELLS holy crap when he see the 9 drop hit the field. the judge, as well as several of the bystanders, looked at him kinda funny, i was much amused.

Let's see:

I had a guy look at the next 4 cards BEFORE mulliganing and then insisted that's how it works.

We had a kid at our Hobby League crap himself (really!) and the TO/Owner DQ'd him and threw him out of the store forever.

Once at a PCQ they guy I was playing drew his cards and then said "Oh wait, this isn't supposed to be in the deck!" and proceded to remove the card from the sleeve and put a card from his pocket into the sleeve. Fortunately, I nudged the guy next to me to witness what was going on, then called a judge.

But my favorite was at a PCQ when the guy I was playing was so frustrated with his record that everytime a character KO'd or a PT was put in the KO'd pile, he'd carefully tear the card into a million little pieces and put them back in the sleeve, then place the sleeve in the KO pile. It was fun (and sad) to watch a Beatdown get the shred . . . .

You saw a Beatdown get shred like that? That's pretty funny, but that booger story is by far the weirdest and most gross one I've read.

strangest thing an oponent has ever done was back at the scholarship tourney @ Boston. my Highvoltage opponent freaked out at how effective my multiple man / harvey bullock / inv. woman / aunt may / fixer swarm deck was handling it. so when I play utility belt oh multipleman, things are good. combat. he tries to burn me w/ flamethrower. I belt it. he screams 'thats not a payment power! activated powers aren't payment powers!' he was just freaking out that he was losing to multiple man LMAO

For a vs story ive had a friend/opponent/Mr.Zarbon, almost do a weird striptease dance on a chair in a weird position. It was rather weird and random. The best description I can give is a fat kid with his legs spread over a chair then he rubs his ass crack on the rim of chair as if he had an itch. 3 of his friends witnessed this, funniest thing and gheyest thing Ive seen.Im not sure he will admit to this though.


He has also dressed up to a 10k(minnisota) dressed as a pirate for no random reason. He would talk like a pirate throughout the day, he even played Mike Jacob as this Pirate, and told MJ some pirate jokes that Mike Jacob did not approve of. Side note no one else was dressed up as a pirate or anything else but themselfs that day.

He also went by the name card professor awhile at our PCQ's. He would wear his cap and gown from high school graduation and talk in a gay voice. When he would enter the building he would scream "the card professor has entered the building", and my group would bow down to the king of scrubs.


At a hobby league ive had a friend almost killed for what he said. A African American kid asked who's soda that was at the table and my buddy ED, said in a loud and annoyed voice I DONT KNOW SOME BLACK KIDS!! Its just soo happens that a majoritiy of the 30 people in the room happen to fit that description besides me and my two friends, ED being one of them. About 5 of them jump up and start calling/yelling/badgering him a racist, very hilarious and yet fearful for my life.

my buddy forgot to declare his toku waza and mastery so the judge said he couldnt use them. They were essential for his deck, lucky for him the guy aura clashed twice and my buddy won by most powerful victory.

there was really only one that stands out buddy of mine was playin sinister squad KO, had 2 cards in his hand I stun one of his characters and then proceed to make a run into nuke. He used sadistic choice on HIS character to ditch the 2 cards and make nuke eat my character, crafty and strange but thats about all iv got.

Well I haven't seen any queer dance on a chair... but I have seen the pee pee dance because he was afraid his opponent would cheat... even though the judge was right there and was watching the game... and the judge said "it's ok to go to the bathroom" then he said... "It's all good... it went a way" then 30 seconds later he was dancing in his chair again...

I havent had too many weird things happen but I have had a few things thrown in my face because of Overload before it was banned. This kid always played the BigHood deck and he would be scared to play me because I had a playset for every deck just about cause everyone around here likes 10000000 atk...so I was paying him in a championship, had a grin on my face the whole time and got 8 drop Mags to 50 some attack...i proceeded to let him atk and when I said legal I said stun him and he literally threw his deck in my face. I laughed and we laughed and had a good time.

The only other story I know of was the same kid who freaked out on me, got screwed out of winning Hobby Leauge points and getting the cards and so on. The guy running the tournament got so pissed at him(the kid is black btw) called him the infamous N word and we literally all ducked. A few screaming words insued and it was over with. But those are what I got!
