Directions:
From 81 North or South, take exit 143 onto 581 South. Continue on 581 South and exit at 3E (Hershberger Rd.). This will put you on Hershberger Road. Continue on Hersberger Road. for approximately one mile, then turn left (at the Walgreens intersection) onto Williamson Road. Follow Williamson Road for about 1.6 miles. The Star City Game Center is on the left.

Hotel: Looking for a hotel? We highly recommend the Hampton Inn I-81 exit 146 (Phone: (540) 563-5656). It’s less than a mile down the road and has always gotten favorable reviews from our players!

Time: Doors open at 8:00 AM, tournament begins at 11:00 AM.

Tournament Structure: Swiss format (the number of rounds depends on the number of players) with a cut to the top 8. The number of rounds is determined by the number of players. Each round is one game and has a time limit of 30 minutes.

4-8 players - 4 rounds (top 2)
9-16 players - 5 rounds (top 4)
17-22 players - 6 rounds (top 8)
23-36 players - 7 rounds (top 8)
37-52 players - 8 rounds (top 8)
53-94 players - 9 rounds (top 8)

In addition, the first 24 players to register will receive a Extended-art foil participation promo card.

Deck Registration:
Every player must provide us with a legible copy of their decklist. Blank decklist forms will be available at the tournament. We will also have judges on hand to check your deck and sleeves before the tournament begins. We HIGHLY recommend that players take advantage of this in order to avoid possible penalties later on.

Judge Certification: Level 2 Vs Judge certification will be available at this event. Contact Chad Daniel at [email protected] for more information on testing. Anyone interested in testing must contact Chad in advance.

Side Events: Booster draft and constructed side events will be offered throughout the day.

While trading is fine, please note that buying/selling cards with anyone except for our authorized dealer(s), or solicting to do so elsewhere, is strictly forbidden at this event. Failure to obey this rule may result in both the buyer and the seller being removed from the event without refund, and banned from attending future events.

Star City Events also reserves the right to limit the amount of space being occupied by any one individual while trading, and does not allow the use of suitcases, handcarts, luggage carts, etc. to be used for the purpose of transporting excessive amounts of trade stock.
