I believe chosen stores (I think UDE direct Hobby League stores) can get boxes of EA packs. If not now, they will be able to in the future. They are packs that contain nothing but alternate arts and extended arts if I am informed correctly. They are collector bait basically, as they will have no new cards, just new versions.

Some maybe we have seen in toy packages or comics in he past, and others are entirely new.

I bought a Batman comic for the alternate art 7 drop, and got a Green Goblin (5) alternate art a while ago. I have yet to see another copy of that card, and it has not show up in a toy yet either. So I woudl assume it was a mis-sorting... and it will be in the new alternate/EA packs. Maybe an EA Heroic will also.

But this is all speculation on my part, based on heresay and rumour....

Well, the card you mentioned is not on the list of promo extended arts, so unless someone else knows a source for it, sounds like you've managed to get your hands on an "in house" card.

Sometimes a promo version of a card will be printed with either no plans to distribute it to anyone who doesn't work for the company, or that they later decide not to. I've seen pictures of an EA 7-Drop Deathstroke, and rumors of alot of others "in house" EAs that have been leaked into the public.

The other possibility is, that what you have is a test printing for the up and coming Gallery Packs.

In case you were unaware, this November UDE will be releasing Gallery Packs, which are essentially an anthology of cards from previous sets, all with Extended or Alternate Art. If they printed a test run, it is quite possible a few cards managed to sneak out into the general public.

I'm pretty sure the 5 drop Goblin came with a toy. I have one too, and the person who traded it to me said as much.

ironicallly, i gave it to a guy earlier tonight in place of an ea poison ivy i was going to give him. this sounds like i may likely have made a bad decision, huh?

Wow dude. You probably could've gotten $400-$500 for that EA on ebay.

No, the Goblin hasn't been with any toy I have yet seen. I want to know more about the gallery packs. Thats probably the source.

Edit to add: sorry... just looked it up. it was idneed the Goblin from the legends series. That toy came out months after I had gotten that card, and I hadn't looked it up again.

The awesome gentle man has agreed to let me get back the ea and will accept other more fairly valued cards in the other cards place. thanks for the info folks!
