Alrighty. Next Monday, I'll be posting on part two of the Doom / Secret Society deck. I figure it's better to get moving forward sooner on what comes afterward. At this point, there are several options from the new set and some less explored options from other recent ones that seem worthwhile to investigate. I'm putting it up to a vote - some of my ideas follow, but feel free to choose your own as well. Go ahead and list a top 3 in order of preference; I'll be using that as the rubric for determining what to cover in the near future.
Darkseid and the Lunatic Legion
Both the Darkseid's Elite and Kree teams have cards that support a common theme of wearing away at an opponent's resource row. The idea here is to make an aggressive deck that lets you pick away at the cards they flip, either by getting pumped (Trok, Talla Ron), getting to mess with the opponent's characters (Virman Vundabar, Ronan (7), Kanto), or just aiding the effort of blasting away resources (Dylon Cir, Kona Lor, Bron Char). When the Legion set comes out, this pairing will get even more support, but there's still time in the Silver Age of the moment to dig out those old DE cards for one last hurrah outside of Golden Age.
Changing Faces
The Skrulls' new Team-Up and a couple of their characters (the Cap'n and Paibok) look to support a pretty aggressive rush theme. Looking at the possibilities of working with a few other teams, such as Villains United, the JSA, and even the infamous Faces of Evil pair, the goal is to develop a new form of rush deck for a post-DGL Silver Age.
The Once and Future Kang
Without the cheatingness of the Lost City to support him, Kang hasn't really been a popular character or affiliation. I'm curious if there's a way to make the most of him in the future Silver Age format, possibly with the collection of new Kang drops aiding in making the Kang Council into a capable negation-stall team. Several team-up options are also available that might be able to make the most of the Master of Time.
Dark Side of the Moon
No, despite the homonymical part of the title, this would be all about Inhumans in an aggressive context, most likely utilizing the hidden area to some degree. Either alone or with one or more other teams, they have a lot of potential for aggression like what MKKO wished it could represent. This is a perfect place to try a few different ideas I've had in that vein.
Shadow Wars
With a few interesting hidden Army characters like the Aspiring Pawns and support cards that can make for a lot of pumping among them, the idea here is a Checkmate / Hellfire Club / Injustice Gang (/ Villains United) deck that shoots to kill quickly and powerfully. With the backing of The Hellfire Club, Secret Checkmate HQ's, and some other trickery, it's possible to envision a team of 6/2 1-drops ready and willing to wipe the opposing field.
The G-Men
For a future Silver Age, the Heralds have several nasty controlling elements all lodged into a single powerful curve. Given the edge toward defense in the D/SS vote, I suspect there will be a lot of people experimenting with this team, and I've seen some ideas that really look worthy of testing. I suspect either a solid defensive build, or possibly an aggro-stall hybrid curve could make for a fun and worthy deck.
Latverian Goon Squads
Finally, the last option is simply the offensive option of the currently highlighted Doom / Secret Society team-up. Attend or Die! and Doomed Earth are cards that have a clear bit of synergy to them, and both teams have several good cards to support a rush strategy. If you're up for Moloids and Quadromobiles, this could be the deck for you. ^_^
i can only agree here.
...who amongst us could resist the siren call of the Darkseid's Elite affiliation?
Personally, I'd prefer to wait until Legion of Superheroes before settling on a DE build. Why settle on half of the card pool when the current card pool is months away from doubling? Whatever you built might be completely revamped very shortly.
Inhumans/Galactus I'm really interested in, but I think there'll be alot coming up on them, but Kang really has never been fleshed out beyond Kang City.
I'm also curious for a MoE/Doom build, based on Armies/HardSound and abusing the bejeezus out of Master of Puppets, Glory of Doom, Doomed Earth, and mix in the freezing abilites from MoE with the KOing abilities of Doom.

I thought of that before posting... the big reason to get into it now is that some people will be playing the updated Silver Age in Hobby League and whatnot, as well as for Golden Age. In a few months, when Legion cycles in, I'll be able to compare the new cards with the old, which increases the mileage of the same theme, as well as giving us a better notion of what cards will be most useful from the new set.
Sounds like Kang is a definate leader currently. If this ends up being the next up on the block, I've got a pair-of-decks idea for Kang Council to test. ^_^
