Yesterday I made it official.

I hate the Kree.

Not because they are too strong (they're not) or too weak (they're not); nor have I ever played them or played against them in constructed.

I don't even have a storyline grudge against them as race.

I just decided I needed to "hate" a Vs team, so I chose the Kree.

That's right, I ARBITRARILY HATE THE KREE!

A little silly, I know, but it got me wondering ... does anyone else have any other arbitrary grudges in the game? I mean pure abritrary hate. If you dislike them for any reason, that doesn't count.

I hate all heroes. Not the Thunderbolts, they don't count.

Blondes, can't stand 'em.

I meant IN-GAME hate.

Again, just talking about ingame hate, not encouraging people to post their REAL WORLD hate here.

Oh, it carries over. You don't know how long it took for me to be able to look at Longshot. Carol Danvers rocks on cardboard, but I always have to stare at T'Challa when I recruit her.

See, blondes on TV always look unattractive to me, but blondes in real-life look fine. Peculiar.

I never realised how difficult it is to hate something without reason.

Do you hate other alien races as well? Or is it just blueskins you hate? Do you hate the Guardians of the Universe? Or the Grandmaster? Actually, everyone hates that guy.

Well I guess you could argue that there's a "reason" behind every conscious choice, but really I decided to hate Kree because I wanted to "hate" a team affiliation.

I guess I really just wanted an affiliation I could see as an "enemy".

Seriously, has no one else done this?

There has to be someone else out there that simply chose to "hate" a team affiliation just to, essentially, declare war on them. It's like choosing a team to root for in a sport you don't care about ... there's no real reasoning behind it, you just choose a team to like and a team to hate.

I think he meant that he would hate your team affiliation if you were given one in the Legion set.

Ok, now that's even worse.

If he was just disrespecting me then ... it's not worth getting into an arguement about.

But now you mean he's disrespecting all of Team Access, the secret mini-team in Legion of Superheroes!

Actually, Team Can't Take A Joke was what I had in mind.

It's a strange request, a reasonless hate. I hate Superman but I love Blue Abuse. I hate Doom, but only because of Flame Trap.

I hate the New York Yankees.

I hate the Dallas Cowboys.

I hate Notre Dame.

But, I have my reasons.
