Had OCTGN for a while on old PC, worked fine.
Recently moved house and bought new PC.
I try to host using the IP on www.whatismyip.com and it said
'Bind to Local IP failed' I can only presume this means that the IP provided by the site was not my real IP.
I tried to host with another IP that was there already (Default as my actual IP) and that doesn't work either (Message: Could not connect)
Whenever you are hosting games are you filling out the IP manually or are you letting OCTGN auto-populate the IP?
If you are filling out the IP manually, make sure you go to Options -> and then there should be an option that allows you to "use local IP" and a drop down with boxes like whatsmyip etc. Choose one of those and make sure the check mark is checked in the box. At that point, instead of typing in your IP manually, just go to start -> serve -> and leave the IP field blank. Press okay and see if OCTGN will auto-populate the IP for you.
try letting OCTGN input your ip automatically, and unplug your modem or do whatever it is that make you change your ip change, then try the new one. The same thing happened to me.
