Hey everyone,
I want to apologize for not getting to this any sooner.
The day after the pro circuit, I started a new career, working 6 days a week, and then just haven't been finding much free time otherwise. As such, I never got around to writing a tournament report for PC Indy.
My question is, would people still be interested in reading it if I wrote one, or has it been a little too long since the tourney for any of it to be relevant?
Its not a short process, so I'd like to know that some people would be interested in reading it.
There are no "keep it to one part" sentiments to keep up.
That is unless it's one huge report. I'd just love some in depthness if at all possible. Little moments like Tommy Ashton's game 10 in Indy when he screws up and manages to get to turn 8 ftw despite everything saying he should die on 7.
I just don't want to wait a whole week to read start to finish is what I really meant.
I'm not saying don't write a long, detailed report - those, if well written are the most enjoyable articles. All I mean is it can be frustrating when reports are stretched across multiple days. It's somewhat awkward picking them up in the middle of the tournament and if they are interesting, the suspense can be annoying. That's all.
Looking forward to this however you choose to write it. :)
Yep - I'd still love to see a tourney report... However, the only thing I ask are match descriptions longer than:
"He missed 4, I smashed him. GG."
;)
Quoted for emphasis.
I'd like to reiterate what Ryan said.
I think what we'd like to see are lines such as he one from Micheal Jacob's PC Indy 2005 report where he misplays and doesn't row Birthing Chamber and how it basically costs him the match with him explaining what he would have drawn and how it would have affected the game.
