Good morning Realms. It's a brand new day and those cats just don't like their bags. Heralds has infused the game with a whole host of new moves and we are beginning to catch a whiff. Here's my proposal.
Tell us if you think more than 50% of the deck archetypes at PCLA III will be brand spanking new. Tell us if you think they will debut at a 10K before the Pro Circuit or whether they will be kept under wraps until the fateful weekend.
Oh yeah, the Cats without Bags. We can talk about them too.

Jaeger has been babbling about The Enemy Within. Doom has army guys, and lots of versions. There could be a Longshot/Doom deck on the horizon. Watch out for the "Loom" deck.

This one should be called Latuki Batow, but Hide Johnny has a certain ring to it. Infi life seems good.
if you mean "the decks central focus is from MHG" then i would say under, not by a lot, but deffenantly under.
if you mean decks that will be using MHG cards, well, that should be Over, there are some very good cards out of MHG that will be seeing a lot of play.
Established constructed decks. Common Enemy, Titans, High Voltage, Glock, Curve Sentinels. We should be able to see if a deck is based on an existing template. Shouldn't we?
Heralds just blows the whole game away with so many new tricks for new decks and new tricks for old decks.
Messing with uniqueness always gets people going. And with little Franklin putting any character you like into the hidden area, so many new decks are enabled where low cost characters need to survive until later turns.
Taskmaster suddenly means that decks which previously ran high drops simply for opposing high drops, have a character that can deal with them easily.
Not to mention all the new cosmic lesbian-unicorn content for Superman.
Well Columbus 1oK is just 2 weeks away and plan on going, but no cue what to expect.Without any doubt there will be gems floating around,I am putting a few in my deck just for protection. In my opinion the Kree press rush seems to be the one to possibilily worry about the most, but also is one that runs perfectly or horribely with the turn of the draw. The other thing that to consider is that Columbus is silver and the PC is going to be golden,so believe at the Pc it will be flooded with Doom variants. So guess my finally thought is guess we will have to wait and see.
Personally, I don't think that will matter too much. If I were to guess, I would say that two distinct new archetypes will start their distinguished careers in the middle of Ohio.

ok, this is what i am talking about right here, adding a couple of cards from the set to improve an existing deck[type] doesnt really make it a new decktype or a decktype from MHG. putting Franklin into an existing deck to hide someone is not "creating a new deck" its tweeking it.
existing Decktypes that will still be around (probobly)
Common Enemy
Glock
Titans
High Voltage
Curve Sentinals
EMS/New School
Good Guys
i can see a few Heralds and Inhumans team-up floating around. Heralds and Kree will likely show up as well. hell, there is an interesting Kree-Darkseid's Elite deck that has been discussed a little. but i still think overall, the new decks emerging with a "PRIMARY FOCUS" of something from Heralds to be 'under"
SOYLENT GREEN IS DOOM. I keep playing ultron 11 for free and then kill him for doom's effect. oh and did I mention I have 4 Doom on field by turn 6? NO, YOU CANT PLAY PLOT TWISTS...YOU DONT USE THEM ANYMORE
I've spawned like 6 doom decks and alot of other stuff. lets just say I made alot of decks...over 50%
