Kinda vague question but yea would ure participation in pcla,the 10k be allowed byu ure family??

i have a 1 year old and i plan to bring him along .I usually miss a lot of events becouse my mother in law is too busy to babysit.This thread is mainly for us older people who play the game .This year my wife and kid will be there with me and i think that may be a fun expirince for us all . Anyone else have any similiar dilemas or plans??

i would imagine it largly depends on your kids...

babies can be laid-back one minute, and then screaming their heads off the next.... so, i'd say bring them at your own risk.

toddlers can be excited by the whole experience and be a handful whne they decide to run up to random people and point out cards in their hands... so, again, at your own risk.

young kids might get bored after a while... i obiously don't know your kids... but i know how kids (even ones that like to play CCGs) can tire quickly without a lot of attention.

older kids.... well, older kids will probably be participating in the event!

Gen Con LA has a great kids area compleat with bouncer and various other things. Kids are FREE to get in and mine always have a blast!:laugh: This year, I'll have a friend keep an eye on them for us there, while myself and my husband will be in the pros! I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 5 year old so hopefully things will go well. They have people on site to help out and it's exciting for the kids!:)

Yea i think i saw the play area last year , looks sweet. my kid gets bored easily but i think he will be there only sat as the rest of the days i beleive ill be there by myself.

My youngest was 1 1/2 last year she bounced all day long. The big kids are suprisingly gentle with the little ones. Bouncers (Bouncy Houses not big men for protection) are amazing entertainment if he has the whole walking thing down he'll be fine!

sounds like my kid will have a fun day . good .a i will be in the eventas as will be my wife . my mother in law will be watching him.

Ozz-theres a vs played at Shuffle and Cut in LaMirada on Tuesdays at 6 and I think theres a HL at the Comic Cult in Norwalk. I think those are right near Bell Gardens, I personally go to Shuffle and Cut, But I think the HL at the Comic Cult is solid as well, Just don't have time to be everywhere!:laugh:
Baby arm- I wouldn't worry about it to much as long as your working for ude and not gencon you. If your with gen con though don't be late or thats where you'll be!:)

Comic cult in norwalk ive been in and i was thinking of being there more . i just need to find out what they have schedule wise and see what i can do. thx for the tip.
