I like reading about Adam doing well.
I like playing big deck even though I think the one techno made is crap but I don't want to make one myself because he houses the collection.
I would like to play more casual formats yet to be invented by such peeps.
I've noticed that people who get jobs with UDE tend to stop writing for some reason or other. I'd not like that to happen.
I think Fiorillo got in through connections as well. Adam's definately made a name for himself in VS but I think in terms of Magic he's small fry sadly (unless we're talking States!)
He might disagree with me but I sort of like reading his Myspace whining and the melodrama. I don't want it trumped by the dream ending of getting a job with UDE just yet. There's a couple of years of misery yet for this guy!
That all being said you have some very agreeable points.
I think the only reason UDE hasn't hired Adam Prosak is that they feel Adam is/has/will/can do a lot more from the game from the position of a player as opposed to a member of R&D.

I hope you did not mean that as an insult. I've never met Adam, but just by realms this man is probably the most approachable of all pros. Not only does he participate in all venues of discussion about OP, testing, strategy etc, he also writes great articles that we all look forward to reading. If Jessica Alba played VS, Adam would probably be on the top of her "Must give head to list". This is the man StuBarnes wishes he was.

Your points seem a little selfish. I am sure we would all miss his articles and forum posts but these reasons certainly shouldn't count against him getting a job with UDE. Were you saying you think it makes sense but you'd miss Adam Prosak, Vs Player? Disregard this if you were.
I've never met Adam face to face (though I did see him at both Gen Con Indy events). However, he's the only person I've ever heard people talk about at just about ever Vs event I've been to so there must be something to that.
Being new to this site, where does he post articles? I'd love to read them.
I think Uly has a good point. Being able to sit down and evaluate cards and then put together a good deck, both constructed and limited, consistently is just amazing.
