Ok, before I get to the point, is everyone familiar with Arcade?
And how hes throwing VS cards at people? (I think there was actually a thread a week or two ago in which American Maid talked about him alot)

Anyways, if you look at the cards he is throwing, it's quite clear that one of them is actually Jetpack, which wasn't actually printed until Web of Spiderman. There's also Xavier school.

Point being, back in Marvel Origins, if he had been previewed before you saw the rest of the set, you arguably got a bonus very vague "sub-preview".

Now, back to future (31st century Legion), or at least the present (tense regardless), I'm looking at "Need for Speed" on the 2006 DC Legion of Super-Heroes Solicitation and I just noticed something. Much like arcade, it has little VS cards in the picture!

Has anyone seen this poster IRL, or at least have a higher-res version of it? I'd be curious if there are any hints that can be gleemed by a closer look.

It's too fuzzy... But yes... I got a "Solicitation" from my Hobby League and it's still too small to tell... If I would guess by the shape... it looks like a mavel card from the X-men Set... but I don't think they would put a marvel card in a DC set.

On that note... I think the Speed force might be pretty good... um... not might... they should be VERY careful (or I hope they WERE very careful) in creating that team... we wouldn't won't our favorite "Readying" characters being banned because a loop hole was found by Constantly attacking, characters.

Speaking of Arcade there also seems to be a character by his left shoulder(dont remember his name, but I'm pretty sure its the father of Cyclops...a character we have not yet seen)

I also see a purple card(possible plot twists or a new type or card...doubtful...probably a plot twists...or thinking again maybe a new type of plot twists(such as concealed characters being black) and it resembles a wolverine that we have not yet seen either. Heres hoping for the next X-Men set. lol

I think I remember it being mentioned that the purple was to represent characters from the Ultimate Universe, but they scrapped that idea.

So I'm guessing Corsair is a definate possibility for the future Maybe the next after a few more marvel sets ude will refeature the X-Men, and this time with better mechanics that dont divide the team. Mutant Traits was a good idea and all, but it seems to put more restrictions on my X-Men than help them, heres hoping for X-Force, Shiar, Corsair, X-Man, Cable, Shield, Hydra, and 4 Horesemen of Apocalypse.

I think it would be cool to have sort of a "reservist" mechanic for equipment... that would be cool if they made it purple and than the card from the Arcade card would come to pass? maybe... no?... I guess I suck.

They'd just put the reservist keyword on the equipment like they put concealed or concealed-optional on it.

The purple was not the Ultimate Universe characters, it was a character mechanic that was cut before the game was finalized. Like characters with 800 attack and crap like that.

the card by her knee looks like it could be Albert Gaines<>Nuke... but, like someone said, it seems kinda weird to have a Marvel card in a DC card.

anyway... the card on the lower-left side looks like it could be power-me-up-and-i-ready Flash...

but, those are just guesses.
the other ones... i have no idea at all.
maybe those are the preview ones... (or other Legion cards...)
