As an additonal cost to play Mobilize, discard a card.
Search your deck for a character card with an affiliation shared by all characters you control. Reveal that card, put it in your hand, and shuffle your deck.
So, what teams will benefit from it the most? Xmen, Arkham, Sentinels, Titans? Who else has gimpy searches?
With the discard a card instead of character how much can we cheat? Obviously if we play it with a team that already has a good character search, we can cut back on the dudes a lot. How many characters are too few?
Are there any cards that are easily returnable from the KO pile other than Phantom Stranger and Mr Myx?
Tricks that we can do to make search anything like Clone Saga? How many early Spidey dudes do we need to play to ensure we get it going?
(a) Clone Sage
(b) Synister Six
(c) Crisis
(d) Detective Chimp ... good thing he's banned ;)
There's also:
(a) Nenora ... she covers your bases in a Kree deck to make it capable of tutoring for Kree characters even when you do happen to splash characters like San and Lockjaw
(b) X-Statix Lone Wolf ... even if you happen to splash characters ... if you control only one person, there should be a team affiliation shared by each character you control ;)
(c) Some of the stuff from Marvel Knights ... the Crime Lords team up [Made Men] and Hypnotic Charms will give all your affiliated characters in play at least one shared team affiliation. There's also forced allegiance.
(d) The leaders: Captain America, Egghead, Hyperion, Prof X, Lex Luthor x 2, etc ... that give adjacent characters team affiliations can help to make sure all the characters you control are on the same team. Of course, you need to plan ahead since you'd likely want to search before the formation
(e) Mutopia with Multiple Man and/or Wolverine, Skruknucklehead [or an image inducer on any character with willpower + hard travelling heroes] would give your entire board several team affiliations, possibly teaming up most of the main teams played.
Hmm, I forgot about Clone Sage/Sinister Six. Either way, I see a large potential for the greatest toolbox deck ever: EomE and Moby Dick here allow you to grab everyone once Crisis is active and you enough different team affiliations, not much of a challenge if you ask me. Plus, it stops betrayel and covers loyalty. Hmm. Clone Saga/S6 might be better when Marvel team-up is out, but for now, Crisis works. Oh yes, Crisis is a team up, easier to search. Hmm, I think we have a winner.
Odd, eh? UDE prints a card to make mono-team decks better and then it makes the greatest toolbox ever to grace the PC. Ohh, the irony. I love irony. Let the show begin!

True, however with Crisis comes the issue of losing any other team stamped effects you might want.
There will be decks that continue to (ab)use Enemy, both as intended [for example: As way to hit Doom in Common Enemy] and as a toolbox cards. There will also be decks that (ab)use this card both as intended [a mono/team-up tutor] or as a toolbox with Crisis. Some will even use both together in a toolbox Crisis deck, or a 2 team deck that intends to team up [Good Guys, Common Enemy]
Big Brotherhood will also benefit from Mobilize, but I really like the fact that X-men will finally have tutor.
Curve Sentinels is now practically ensured of hitting Nimrod, and combined with Enemy, can now hit a perfect curve most of the time if it runs Mags. Not that it was real inconsistent before, but whatever.
I'd be hyped about this card, as a big help for Syndicate (as it's one of my favorite teams)... if it weren't for the fact that this bloody thing is going to be nigh impossible for me to get, what with the massive price tag that'll be attached to it upon DLS' release.
I'm pretty sure I'll never see one.
Still, I'd think Saga/S6 is the best combo with this card, for the sheer fact that you can continue to use all team stamped abilities and effects. It's not like Spidey and Foes didn't need the help. :-)
I'm still psyched from the mobilize preview, thinking of making the underdog decks viable, but ultimately I know that it will serve to help the best mono teams be better more than it will help the bad mono teams be good......

QFE.. That's my exact feelings as well.
Mono decks that were already good just got 4 more search cards. Unless 4 more search cards is too many the best decks, the mono playfield isn't evening out, it's more like power creeping up.
It might help even out against toolbox, however, which is likely more the point.
In other news... if anyone was wondering why they banned Detective Chimp.. here's your answer. :)
