Maybe it's a reporting error, but my friend Owned pointed out while he was trying to build the deck the number of cards in Michael lou's deck, and I counted and verified that there was 57 cards in the deck. It seems liek a reporting error since they do deck checks during top 8s, but it can be possible that it's not a reporting error.
http://www.metagame.com/vs.aspx?tabid=46&ArticleId=7702 thats a link to the even funnier part... well if u find it funny. NOT ONLY did they count 57 in the top 8... BUT they also featured his deck in the Interesting Deck portion of the report........ ANd it also counts 57... So idk, reporters need to do a better job, or somthin needs to be done bout cheating, not saying he is guilty till proven... But come on we are a community, and if some1 cheats, they cheat all of us, even if we arent there.
I played in the event and I'm pretty sure it was a simple reporting error (as I think he played four Ethan Edwards).
I have also done Metagame reporting in the past. It's a tough job. I wouldn't criticise anyone for relatively minor mistakes (which was probably replicated in the two articles due to a cut and paste ... a sensible, economical and quite legitimate way to list a deck in the "top eight" section that you've already featured in an "interesting deck" article). I think the Metagame reporters at the event did an awesome job.
