There are moments in every Vs. Players life when he is beset by a great truth, when certain knowledge overwhelms him and he is left with understanding.

Such was my moment last night. I stared down at High Voltage...Die for Darkseid it said, and another hero exploded before my eyes, and I truly knew.

The reason the Legion of Super-Hero set was built was to fill a great Void, one which Vs.kind had already attempted to fill, for Vs detests a Void. The Great Darkness saga, perhaps one of the greatest pieces of literature ever sculpted within the comic domain (note I do not say Dominion), needed to be retold by our cards.

High Voltage - A series of character most often modified by technology sent out only to kill and die.

At first I conceaved that some Black hand (no not you T'challa) had formed or recreated their evil in the image of those we knew, heroes and villains of the world brought together without seeming continuity, but as so many times before there was a sinister plan and each was brought to wrought it purpose, and then Die (Die for Darkseid).

You see it is all so obvious now High Voltage is the Vs. equivalent of the Great Darkness Saga. Characters we thought we knew reforged with advanced technology, sent out to perform their master bidding (and of course while subtley the cards reveal that master) the great Darkseid for whome those most worthy will 'die for'. In response UDE has released LOS in an effort I believe to help us see the evil tyrant behind it all, and too perhaps now have a chance to combat him directly. Good luck my fellows you now know the truth HV = Great Darkness Saga = LOS, may it give you the strength you need to combat the Darkseid.

He isn't saying DLS specifically helps against the HiV matchup....he just realized that it made somewhat thematic sense for HiV to represent the minions of Darkseid in the Great Darkness saga.

HiV has been weakened as of late -- this also fits his story because now the true threat (Darkseid) has been revealed. We thought Darkseid was a joke, but the whole time he was controlling the mechanized burners of HiV from the shadows.

Now, with his evil revealed to us, it is high time we took him out with a head-on attack.

Pretty cool insight, Kariggi. Of course, it's just chance that it works out that way. But imagining an ongoing storyline that IS the Vs. meta is a GREAT idea.
