I just opened a case and got a total of one Saturn Girl stacker, and no Cosmic Boy or Live Wire. Does anyone have any idea how rare these things are?

I know at the sneek preview I went to there was about 300-350 packs opened and only 4 or 5 stackers were pulled.

That sounds like normal foil distribution. I probably just got a little unlucky with that case. Thanks for the response!

They're no rarer than any other foil rare in the set.

they are the alternate foils, so the Saturn Girl and Cosmic Boy will be the tougher ones to get ahold of, since they are both rare. the Live Wire is a Common, so he should be relativly easier to get.

Ironically enough, we pulled 2 of 3 in a single sealed event. Guess which one we didn't get ;) lol

Yup, although, fittingly enough, one of the A-Team members cracked 5 packs to practice sealed and pulled him. So we currently have one set of the 3-Legionaires side-stackers.

Well this leads me to question an assumption... I open multiple cases of each release, and I'm not convinced common foils are more common than rare foils or uncommon foils. They all appear to be about the same distribution. Has anyone does a multiple case breakdown of foil rarity by rarity type?

I've now opened two cases of Legion and have 2 Saturn Girl, 2 Live Wire, and 1 Cosmic Boy. Overall there are now 2 of most foils no matter the rarity.

I think they specifically made Live Wire foils rare. Wouldn't make sense not to.

At the Chicago pre-release, i was at a table with 6 people doing the sealed. 3 of us each pulled one of the foils. lined them up. shiny!!!!

then we passed them off, never to be seen again

If I recall correctly (been a while since I kept tabs on what I opened), in each box of the current 220 card sets, there are 24 rares (12C, 6U, 6R).

The odds of opening a specific foil card in a box would be about 11%. You should have 1 of everything if you opened a case.
