OK, I just had to share this. Last night I was playing a game against my local store owner. I'm running TNB Reservist, He's running Sentinels/JLI.

Turn 5.
His Init.
He has Fire and one Wild Sentinel.
I have Scanner, Spoor, Senyaka, Amelia, 3 x TNB.
He is on 4 Endurance. I am on 28.
I win right?


End of the game - the scores stand him -18 or something. Me - 56!!!!!!!

How the #### did he get me down to -56? Basically through inif power-ups of his Wild Sentinel and a few trial by fires. I just couldn't stop laughing. Worst beating ever.

Anyone else suffered like that?

That's CRAZY.

The worst burning I ever took was Rogue, Mimic, Prof X 7 teamed with F4 and a full boat of Cosmic's vs. Thing: Heavy Hitter.

84 damage,42 power up, how?

its opponents init. plays a lot of P-Ups, so thats a bunch of damage, not to mention it increases its attack, then there were some other ATK pumps played. and it sounds as if Kam was not in a position to reinforce.

Something along the lines of Mag 7 -> Mag 7-> Mag 7 -> a bunch of natural powerups -> Recon Program -> more powerups -> Recon Program -> more powerups -> Kooey for Recon Program -> more powerups, I would imagine.

Yeah, the deck is built around it. I think the decklist is something along the lines of

He basically weathers the storm on the first few turns and then goes stupid with Wild sentinel powerups - recon - power ups etc. It was hillarious.

Ive found katar hol to be explosive in the deck too.

He probably runs him as well - I just didn't see it. I was too shell-shocked, :classic:

oh this deck is fun just brought him from 22 to -30 on turn 6.
Only used 1 recon program too.

Just dumped a hand full of wilds on turn 6.

inherent problems are lack of teams and permarape by mikado and mosha.

though probably could be made better by using 3 drop army sent instead of wild sents.

It wasn't me getting the bad beats in this game, but I was playing JLA and the other guy was playing GLOCK.

My Elongated Man was attacked by a planet, Mogo, and after 17 power-ups, stunned Mogo without getting stunned back.

best beat i gave someone was i was playing my mono glactus stall deck and he was playing avengers i wouldjust keep gaining life and at turn nine hit i had like 100+life and he had 45 and i hit galactus and and all he had was herc and i popped the counter off tyran had a counter on human torch and hit 3 armaggendons and won like 204 to 0 he went home with his tail between his legs it was funny
