Just a fun little thread to see what u guys like playing the most. Me, I've been playing card games for 7 or 8 years now and I love how army decks break the rule of no more than 4 of any card in a deck. You can run a deck of 60 of the same character if you wanted to. I dont know if thats what has drawn me to my top 4 or not. Well here are my top 4 favorite decks. I enjoy playing these the most:
Wild Vomit
AGL
World War III or War Paint (same deck)
Moloid Burn
Remember, these are you favorite decks to play. That doesnt mean they have to be the most competetive decks out there.
i always loved playing decks like knight-light (non-child lock), evil medical school, new school, gamma doom, CE, and secret society GA toolbox/stall. always prefered control decks.
1.X-Men Curve(its on metagame...yah!)
2.Spider-Clones
3.Heralds of Doom
4.JLA Curve Starring Flash
Currently working on a Hi-Tech Fan 4 Deck that I think will be fun.
1. MoE/Kree/Bhood/Avengers reservist Big Deck
2. Heralds/Inhumans/Revenge Squad/Superman cosmic Big Deck (haven't changed to Legionaires yet, Bizarro World takes away the big appeal of RS)
3. Checkmate/Hellfire/AntiMatter/Kang concealed Big Deck
4. F4/Society/Gotham/Checkmate equipment/combo Big Deck
Mono Fantastic Four (My first deck)
Mono X-Men Beats (Biggest stat guys, recovery)
Mono Gotham Knights (Fizzles, Det Works, Belts...FUN!)
"The Galvanizer" (Fan Four/Crime Lords - Equipment and Reinforcement)
Aside from the Galvanizer, I often get the joy of having my opponents scratch their heads when I'm only dropping one team.
I used to like playing Mono Spider-Friends evasion so much, especially during the era of Curve Sentinels and Teen Titans. It felt so nice to be on the losing end of a match, then suddenly turn things around by stealing the 7th turn initiative...
I like playing this basic X-Men energy curve deck, it's nowhere near competitive by today's standards but it's nice for casual, mono/dual team affiliation games...
