If you're talking about the alternate art EA where Spidey is protecting Gwen Stacey (which I believe features Alex Ross art), it was given to UDE employees one year, so it's pretty rare. It was not the same that was in the Marvel tins (that's the 3 drop from the Spider-man set).

I wanted to know what set the 4 drop spiderman (no alex ross art) was sold in? (I thought it was in the metal tin only-maybe not?)

It was a rare from the Marvel Avengers expansion. You can find out which expansion a card is from by looking at the code next to the number. MAV is Avengers.
