Very cool. I've used Vent for WoW raids. It'll be very useful for OCTGN games. Much better than trying to type comments.

too bad I don't have a microphone

$20ish for a USB mono headset. I got a Cyber Accoustics. It works just fine.

I'd like to make a suggestion for an AFK channel.

this could be a nice "lobby" for VSer to get pick up games.

Definately going to try this once i get a headset. On a side note, is there an 'official' VS irc chat room?

We used to have an IRC chat room, but have taken it down and are currently looking to replace it (the previous one was buggy and prone to hacking).

I'm hoping this catches on. A few of the OCTGN regulars don't seem inclined to give it a shot, but I've already got it up and running, just waiting until I'm not the only person in the lobby..;)

once they see that there are people on the server (through the module on the front of the site) then I'm sure people will drop in. We'll try to do a voice chat with some of the R&D guys once we figure out how to restrict access. I also what to record it so that we can have an audio archive of the discussion. :) Just another side project of RealmsRadio. :)

Killer idea. It should catch on.
