What makes up the next Silver Age PC?

Whats the front running deck going in?

My guess is Silver Bullet.

the PC in Sydney is march 1-4, which SHOULD mean that Marvel team-up isnt legal yet. it should MMK - DLS (which includes the Batman Starter, the F4 Starter, and X-Men starter). as for the Front running deck, i have no idea.

I thought the Modern Ages changed?

pc Sydney is Silver Age. last 8 sets.

the Modern Age is now a combined age. last 4 sets. since we are not exactly sure when the PC is (its assumed to be at Gen Con Indy, i havent looked up the dates for that.) but that will be either DCR - MHG- DLS - MTU or MHG - DLS - MTU - DWF. that depends on when exactly DWF will become legal.

I hate to say this, but some form of Kree is going to be a frontrunner. Now that Dr. Light is banned, the next deck that can generate the most extra resource points should win it.

and its in austraila, kree kicked butt in the last 2 10ks they have had, so has lost in space but can that deck work as well without dr. light?

I have heard from some reputable sources that Marvel Teamup WILL be legal for Australia. This means that Marvel Knights will rotate out. Can anyone confirm/dismiss this with proof?

i cannot prove or disprove it, the only reason i assume that MTU wont be legal is that the PC will only be 2 months after DLS becomes legal (well, a couple of days more than that, but not a lot). and that is just a little fast for a set release. (although wasnt X-Men like that too? i dont really remember.)

Cards are legal for Sealed Pack tournaments at any time starting the first day of the Sneak Preview tournaments for a new card set. That means cards are legal for Sealed Pack even before the official release date.

so, as we can see, MTU will not be legal for PC Sydney. although it is still becoming legal very soon after DLS (not even 2 1/2 months afterwards)

From the set legality date we can probably extrapolate that the sneak-preview will be February 10th & 11th. Knowing that, we can probably start to expect to see spoilers around January 29th.

Well, TFH's Kree didn't run Dr. Light for most of it's testing life. :)

Lost In Space does seem slightly dependent on Dr. Light though.


Kree is a known factor now, however. It'll be good, but people /will/ be planning to beat it.
