Not exactly earth shattering cards, but decent forsure.
Also, I much enjoyed the article. That's turning out to be the best part of the previews for me, which in light of the lab et. all, is saying quite a bit.
Cards were aight, nothing super like some of the previous ones. Stu did a good job of writing the article, good insight and nice background info. A+ :)
now when someone asks "what is HAT," one can no longer automatically answer "Honor Amongst Thieves." sweet!
also, while not OMFG fantastic, these cards are pretty good for what is, essentially, the new starter deck for vs. a marked improvement over the other more recent efforts.
If you cand team up Karl Ruprecht Kroenen with an Army Doom deck, Manhunter deck, or OMAC deck then Karl can help put some extra army characters into the hand since his evasion can keep him on the field.
No wonder you seem to love this set. If UDE said they were selling poo in a box, but if you pump it up, you get to hang with Selma, I'd do in a heart beat.
BUT this set ISNT waste in a cardboard rectangle. So you get double bonus.

Lucky freakin duck.
im going to play disbeliever here and say the pic is shopped (didnt seem right to me) unless Stu says otherwise.

Well... Sorta. It's kind of a different thing, ya know?
What I'm trying to say is, that was a very wonderfully written article Stu. lol Really brought out the flavor and deep metaphorical connection between the two cards. Well stated about the terror of true horror vs the imaginary, too.
When will people posting previews and important information from Metagame learn? Some of us are stuck behind firewalls, and we need this information too! Am I to not learn of things merely because the army decides soldiers in Iraq need not have access to anything that could possible boost morale? Please, help us out!
