When you peeps visit Aussie land we (me and my fellow VS dudes) would like to hook up after playing for 8 hours or so to relax or show you the sites?

So if you are keen for an insight knowledge to the great land of Australia, please give me a PM and i will do my best to point you in the best direction.

Certain things you may want to do to grab some life points:

a) eat kangaroo and/or crocadile
b) enjoy beer, good company and good laughs (remember you dont need to be 21 to drink in australia: legal limit is 18!)
c) show you the sights [can be limited by (b)]

anyways, if you need some company or some good laughs let us/me know and we will see what we can do.

Although I wish I could attend PC Sydney, lack of funds is a b*tch. The offer is greatly appreciated. It would have been nice to enjoy b) at an establishment that may limit all the 'younger' crowd from attending. I hear the ladies are real nice, and 'nice' down under. read: SEXY LADIES! perhaps at one of the night clubs where articles of clothing are slowly removed from SEXY LADIES! to cheesy music

On a related note, is anybody else going to try and catch the pride parade on Saturday night after cards?

(Make all the gay jokes you like, but it's the biggest pride parade in the entire world. How often do you get the chance to see something like that? Er, if you don't live in Sydney, because then presumably you get the chance every year.)

respect to the whole pride thing. But my "good times" lay somewhere else? I dont live in Sydney (i need to drive 23 hours to get there), after that amount of driving would you go and see people doing their thang! Not me sunshine. 8-)

a) Already eaten crocodile... haven't done the 'roo yet. Actually, I'd rather capture a live 'roo and take it home instead; but if you're not up for lasooing 'roos, it may be a 2nd alternative.

b) Drinking with Australians is always a good experience. I did this once at a magic pro tour... myself and 2 buddies were sitting around drinking a beer, and one of the Australian contingent comes up and asks if he can join us. We were pretty suprised, but say sure. Pretty soon the rest of his crew came together, and some of the England team randomly joins us. It was a blast, we draft completly drunk afterwards (I play suprisingly well drunk)... and its deffinetly like nothing I've ever seen from Americans (who the hell just walks up to a table and asks to join in with total strangers?). Oh, and I want to see the Orange-haired 'fro guy drunk... the mere thought of it makes me giggle.

c) We're going to see Sweeny Todd at the Sydney Oprah House one day; and going to hit the wildlife preserve. Let us know what sites you are seeing (especially if they are sites best seen after b above) and we'll try to keep those on the "see with the tour crowd" day.

I guess what I am saying is it sounds awesome; let us know what day you guys want to get the VS players together for the Australia tour and we'd deffinetly love to join in. Nothing like having the locals show you around a country (deffinetly added to my Japan trip).

All I'm asking is that if any Canadians from the Toronto area go over, that they bring me back some Tim-Tams, Monte Carlo's and Velvetian Creams. Cookies/Biscuits over here just don't compare, and I'm having cravings. Heck,I even had a hankering for a Polly Waffle the other day.

Sure, these North Americans have Milk Duds, but it just doesn't compare.

I'd be asking for meat pies too, but I doubt they'd survive the flight. I haven't had a decent meat pie since I immigrated.
