My hobby league hasn't received prize support in about three months. UDE announces that they're restructuring everything, and that cool HoG cards are coming shortly (which apparently some places have actually received). Frankie Raye gets banned, so they say they're shipping out replacement 4 drop Darkseids. Now, this would all be really cool, except we still haven't received ANY OF IT yet. I am already really pissed off that they decided to completely skip DLS EAs though, despite what others think of the set.

So, I go into hobby league today and the TO says that he received new cards from UDE, which should be awesome, because it means things might actually be fixed for real.

Then he shows me the cards he received...AND THEY'RE F'ING CARDS FROM INFINITE CRISIS THAT CAME OUT LIKE HALF A YEAR AGO. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! OMGROFLCOPTERWOOZLEWUZZLEI'MBEATINGMYBRAINSINLOLZ!!!one!1one!

THREE F'ING MONTHS!

I'm here in Central Florida and we just got the Dr.doom(3), Kang(2), and I hunger cards last week. We also received one of those care packages with a box of crisis.

I have read the other threads on this topic, which is why I summed up my understanding of what was supposed to be happening up to the point I went crazy from getting Crisis EAs from last year.

They confirmed the upgrades to Hobby League like a week ago. Everyone's hobby leagues have been in disarray, but they are getting caught up. There was a point where they were three sets behind, now they are only one set behind.

You just have to be patient.

This is the first I've heard of DLS EA cards being skipped. Is this true? How do we know this? My area waits for the EA cards of the current sets to give them out on HL. Does that mean the past few months of HL are effectively EA-less for us?

Unfortunately, yes. The exception to this was the EA Oppressor being sent out to replace Frankie Raye.
I would adjust the way your store doles out it's swag. There were three different heralds hobby leagues available last month you could look into.

Also, on the topic as a whole, UDE is taking steps to repair the hobby league, and make up for the last years problems. The thread starters most recent arrival is most likely an example of this. My league was sent a random box of DMS along with the anarchy playmat as well as some other swag in addition to the last league kit with no further explanation than a thank you for customer loyalty.

Did your store owner actually ORDER Hobby League?

As far as I know... ever store that ordered and paid for HL got it. During the lull between DCR and MHG, your store should have got 1 HL kit with Nasty Surprise, Cover Fire etc. Then January would have been the 3 MHG kits. February would have been the assorted loyalty kit that had a random booster box, playmat and some other stuff.

He also called and called and called like he has to do every month to ever get anything shipped to us. We did receive the Nasty Surprise/Cover Fire/Dodge kit awhile ago, but have not received anything NEW since then. He also hasn't received the assorted loyalty kit.

If you e-mail me specific information such as the name and contact information for your shop, which kits they ordered, etc. I will look into this for you. HoG kits have been shipping since January, one each month. A few weeks ago we sent out a care package to stores who ordered any of the first 3 HoG kits. The Darkseid cards are in process now and should be showing up soon.

First... did he order kits on time?

I do know that if you miss the deadline date of when to order the kit and you don't place your order through the system, your chances of getting hold of someone to place an after deadline order is slim.

second... were there kits that he paid for that he did NOT receive?

If so, than your store owner has legitimate complaints.

Ever notice that the majority of people complaining about late kits are not the retailers themselves, but people that shop/play there? Yet they assume their retailers are 100% on top of ordering on time, ordering regularly, and filing regular complaints/concerns with UDE.
