So, in understanding the whole uniquess and identity quality, and what they are purposed to represent.
They just release Venom, Mac Gargan in homeage to the transition of the new comic book Venom where the former Scorpion takes on the symbiote suit.
So being that; how can you legimately get away with having VENOM, MAC GARGAN and SCORPION, MACDONALD GARGAN on the field at the same time.
It's possible because they have different identities, but how come they couldn't just make VENOM, MAC GARGAN into SCORPION, NEW VENOM or something among those lines.
I understand they can't do that because, incidentally you could have Scorpion, Venom and regular Venom on the field. But they could of made a Scorpion-Venom that says you can't recruit a character named Venom and or can't recruit if you control Venom.
It was just something I was thinking about when looking over the MTU list.
They would have had to add "When you recruit this character, KO any characters named Scorpion during Uniqueness check" or something to that effect to do it right.
Which doesn't seem like much, but might have crossed a thresh hold of text or number of effects on a single card. I don't think I can think of any character card with 3 fully written out effects.
It's annoying, but i think if it really bothers you just don't play Scorpion and Venom <> MacDaddy in the same deck.
