This subject has be discussedin detail on this site. I know all the arguments for and against. I don't care to hear them again and again. I'm just curious, are you for or against? I'd post a poll, but I'm either not smart enough or don't have the access. Maybe one of the mods will do it for me.
I get the impression that an overwhelming majority of people would like to see this card banned. If that is true, I wonder what the reasoning for not banning it could be...

(I'm for the banning, btw.)
I'd be fine with a banning, but there'd probably be a really bad reaction from most people if they did, especially the people who've spend 200 bucks getting them.
I think the best solution is to do better design for cards that are team-stamped and make more common and uncommon cards that encourage mono-team and/or teaming up. Big Leagues, Mobilize, and Against All Odds are great steps in this direction, but they're all friggin' rare. I don't think Against All Odds and/or Big Leagues will reach Enemy numbers, but god damn Mobilize already has and that's just wrong.
sorry. we ban cards one at a time on this site (see frankie raye, dr light, overload etc).
Devils due comes first D:
edit:
I am pro enemy golden, anti enemy silver*
*is there any modern event scheduled before modern season where xmen is legal? just in case, im anti enemy modern too.
Because of Enemy i avoid Silver/Golden age and mostly only do sealed or draft. Deck building (atleast competitively) is just not fun with that card around.
This is, I think, the best thread we've had on this subject so far.
The arguments get into a good amount of detail, it's relatively friendly if I recall, , on a more personal level it includes the argument that of course I think is most pertinent in this case - that of why it needs to remain in golden, imo, and it even touches on people's opinions of some other cards.
Does anyone have an idea on the total number of these threads that have come up since MXM? Easy answer: Way too many.
Seriously, the tools are out there to build consistant mono-team decks now. You don't have to "toolbox" to be successful.... it's not like we're chasing a million dollars anymore.
Even discounting folks like myself who are sitting on 4x overpriced, foiled-out Enemy(s)....there ARE folks out there building two-to-three team team-up based decks with teams who need the search (Underworld, Crime Lords, etc). They're not looking for the next "omg...brokerz combo"... they're looking to make their janky, fun pet deck more consistant so that it holds up to the Moloids and Kree nonsense floating around out there.
Don't have Enemy? Not my problem. Should have bought some back in the MXM days. Go look around for some... I hear they're going pretty cheap on E-Bay right now.
If you're going to cry for the ban hammer, shoot for something that actually needs it: Devil's Due.

As I stated in my original post, I don't care to start another discussion of the whys or why nots. Nor am I trying to get it banned. I just get the feeling that there are far more people that would like to see it banned than not. That was the only purpose of this thread. To see if that feeling was accurate or not.
In other words, the first two letters of your post was more than sufficient.
However, just in case this is a battle we lose, I like to talk about compromises.
Meh... the only "compromise" I can come up with would be a refund for $$$ spent on MXM product/$$$ spent on EoME.
For those of you about to spout off about how Mobilize "should fill the tutor void".... glad to know someone is buying some Legions of Superheroes. UDE should thank you. I thank you for continuing to support the game.
Honestly, banning this card... one of the only true "money" cards of this game, would be the final nail in the coffin (so to speak) for most of the players that I know. These guys have gone out and spent their hard-earned money (as have many others) to chase these "necessary to compete at the upper level" cards.
Then again, since there may not be an "upper level" anymore, maybe no one should care......
