I'm posting this for my buddy Bryan (you may remember him from his turns as Head Judge for a number of Bay Area PCQs and Previews - including MTU).
He emailed to tell me he has Hobby League up and running in Hayward, with prize support and everything. I'm going to check it out on Saturday. Here are the details:
22300 Hathaway Ave.
Hayward, CA 94541
11:30 registration. Golden Age Constructed. (Though I'm told it will probably switch to Silver after this week). This Saturday (3/3/07) registration is free!
Check out my web site for more info. I'll post the flyer later tonight.
Bryan has also confirmed that he will run a City Championship on March 24th. (Woohoo!!)
I'm actually already scheduled to work the rest of the Saturdays this month, so I cannot make it to hardly anything over there before I get my shop set to go. :(
Curtis you are getting your own shop that is great
Back to more about The hobby league we are having our City Championships on the 31st at 130 and Brian and Mike are going to try to make it down I hope some more of you would come down (more prize support)
Just a reminder - Hayward Hobby League is happening tomorrow. See the first post in this thread for details. Registration is $5 this week. Hope to see you there.
I'm judging the Yu-Gi-Oh! event on Saturday...actually, till the end of the month so I can't go. =/ So sad. Was gonna go pwn brian with my new deck too.
There is no age limit and the price will probably constantly stay at 5 unless Bryan is gonna do something huge
Yeah - what he said.
Reminder, there will be no meeting this weekend, as Bryan is out judging WOW crap. But if you're jonzin' to play, there will be a Collector's Corner Tourney on Sunday.
