I am calling out all the competitive players of Socal and locals of Ventura county. PCQs offered 250 cash card, boxes, playmats, EAs, PCs points and more importantly competitive game play. Well with PCQs gone and all we got to work with is hobby league and the upcoming city championships. I would like to start a city championship tournment in my home town of Simi Valley. We have a small local base that is slowly growing, and you may know some of are competitive players from pcqs 10ks and pcs. You may be asking yourself why would you drive out all the way to Simi, for most of you socal competitive players it is over a hour drive. And what i am offering is PCQ like prize support and competitive game play. Which includes the cash cards. The PCQs in socal got from 10 to 30 people depending on the weekend and location. PCQs constructed entry was 25 bucks. If we could start a city champs with max entry of 25 dollars, I can offer 100 pre paid credit cards boxes and more depending on the number of people. Pre paid cards could vary from 100 and up, boxes could be as much as one for both first and second, and packs break down depending on place in tournment. Playmat for first, EAs for all. Anyone up for this? I would like to get some feed back. How would you like it to be run, bigger tournys with top cut off? What dates is everyone open too? Saturdays like pcqs? I was hoping if i got enough people on board we could even start it this month? And local Ventura people this is a great way to get some really tournment experience. And all the hard core players this is a great way to get together with competitive players for PC testing. Thank you for your time.

The Kit for the City Champship is ordered we have a location to play, all we need are players.

I will post the date of the event here at a later date, tenative we are looking at the end of March begining of April depending on the Kits arrival.

The entry fee is yet to be decided, but just about every dollar spent to enter the tourny is turned into prizes, their is of course a participation prize so nobody walks away epmty handed.

Why would a game that still has one of the best payouts in all TCG history be dead, they cut it by half surre, but it still pays to play this game. How many games pay more maybe 3 and thats out og how many hundred.

Be there or Be square. I want to win, with all these people leaving the game now is the best time to play competitivly.

I guess u have a good point TimeMaster, but have you checked the pcq listings for the upcoming months there is only singapore listed, now that tells you alot about the game, its simply dying. And ive heard rumors that UD is ganna sell the game to another company, but thats just a rumor i dont know if thats true.

I doubt this game dies as quick as everyone thinks it will. If it does die ina year or 6 months that pretty irrelivent. The fact is you can still play the game now and make decent coin doing so. I do not play this game for money so it doesnt matter to me. I do understand lots of people play this game based on cash alone. I personally play for EA's and the love of comics.
