I agree that they really should have put on a "cannot cause breakthrough" or "cannot ready again this turn" clause on Samantha's power, but I doubt that she will be banned. As far as I am concerned, Ego Gem is the most powerful card out of the set.
They really should have team stamped parrington. They team stamp doc ock with loyalty and they let parrington splash anywhere. What the hell were they thinking?!?! I'd still be more in favor of errata then banning though. I mean c'mon, they put a team restriction on Gog and not on parrington? WTF?
However my vote still goes for ego gem. Only because in every tcg i've ever played, the cards that are always first to get banned are the ones that let you draw.
(just to note all of this splashable crap can easily be fixed by a banning of EoE.... someday i hope.)
As for Parrington... I think they made a very bad call when they decided to allow the readied character to cause breakthrough. Same goes with Moon Knight.
You can have one of two things in the environment, and have it be ok, in my opinion - ways to ready characters and still allow them to cause breakthrough, or attack pumps for the turn. When you have both, it becomes very easy to get out of hand.
Case in point - You have Hellcat, Parrington, and Moon Knight in play, and one flying kick down (A very reasonable setup). Your opponent is running Underworld, which is predominantly concealed, but has one visible character (Magik), and a couple of concealed characters. Hellcat makes Moon Knight 13/11, Parrington backs him up, and you attack in. He readies, you flying kick, he's a 16 attack. Opponent takes 5 stun, 7 BEL. Their board is clear, you swing in, pay 3 to ready him, they take 13 and then another 13 on the third swing. That's 38 endurance in one turn, with very little setup.
Is that situation avoidable? Sure - you can certainly build your deck to minimize that. But it's still pretty damn ridiculous. Now - if he doesn't cause BEL when he readies? Much more reasonable - he becomes a board clearing machine, but he still gives your opponents some outs.
I agree with JM and Access. It only happens once per turn, no matter how many times you use her ability. She's extremely good but not doctor light broken.
