It looks like we're going to be able to pull off a City Championships tournament on the last possible day of the season down here in Northern Virginia. The store is Game Parlor in Chantilly, VA, the time is probably Noon.

Having previously not had a hobby league in the area, this might be the first tourney we've had at this shop (we're going to try to pull of one hobby league tourney before hand at least). So, it seemed like a good idea to try to bring people in from the forum, since we don't really have a local scene.

I'm going to manage to get about 5 buddies to come, and the store really wants me to figure out what my attendance might be. I know that there are players down in Richmond and up in Rockville, if not in NOVA itself, and that some of you are on the forum here. It would be awesome if you could respond to this thread or PM me if you or your friends think you might attend, so that I can get an idea if we're going to get anyone to crash our party and make our event larger. :)

...I finally worked out a hobby league tourney (our first) with the store owner today. We'll be holding our first hobby league on Thursday in Chantilly at Game Parlor. Yes, 2 days from now. My buddies will be there with jank that they are tuning for CCs. If anyone is interested, you're welcome. I hope I reserved enough space for the hordes that will descend upon us after this posting. ;)

Oh...and it starts at 7:30 pm. Ends when the store closes at 10. I'll be there around 6-6:30 to do demo's for any fool stupid enough to express interest in the game. I'm armed with starter decks, and not afraid to use them to throw a game to a n00b. :)
