Whenever X stuns a character an opponent controls, recover that character.

Can you chain to that with something like Neutralized:
As an additional cost to play Neutralized, exhaust a Morlocks character you control. Choose a stunned character. Ongoing: The chosen character cannot be recovered. The chosen character cannot be KO'd during the recovery phase.

So would that prevent the auto recovery?

Yes, that would work fine; can't always trumps can. If you like, you can also use something more straight-forward like Finishing Move.
