I have a question about team ups. More specifically, Ancient Evils. Can I pick a Darkseid's Elite character to pay the additional cost? If so, it's usefullness just really went up for me. Also, can a character without Cosmic recieve a Cosmic counter? Thanks.

You certainly can.

The only effect this card would have is if there was a non-DE copy of Darkseid. Aside from the Uniqueness thing.

Isn't Ancient Throne more useful, though? Maybe Ancient Evil is just your backup.

It is my back up. don't have enough of ancient throne. I need three more. The team up can be usefull because I have a few dual affiliated characters as well.

Now can you give a cosmic counter to a character with out cosmic? I couldn't tell he your answer applied to both of my questions.

no, a character without the "Cosmic" keyword cannot have a Cosmic counter.

You should really grab the Ancient Thrones. They're only uncommons, very easily acquired. Re-using plot twists/locations is an utterly ridiculous effect.
