My card shop is having a silver age Marvel tornement this weekend and this was the first team that I thought of. It should be obv. how it works.
LMK what changes could be made to make it better b/c the winner gets a box of MTU

I think Iceman is the better 6drop and since it is a Marvel tournament can you use Mobilize? Also have you tried Magik or starter Wolverine at teh 5drop spot?

darctrunks- What you said about Mobilize made me laugh, I am so use to using it in X-men its not funny. I guess I could add in one more Worthington and 2 Cerebro what do you think?
Iceman emmmm....... I know I run alot of energy characters so his cost does not bother me that much so I will think about it.
I dont really get what you mean by those 2 as being tech can you explaine a bit?

Not that you asked for my input, but I would like to give it anyway..... I like the 6 drop colossus, or how about the Rogue (6) for the KO effect. That Colossus is tricky only because for you have to really pay attention when he is coming out and play a more reserved turn because you don't want him getting stunned so you can get the 3 counter bonus during recovery. I have been running him in my X-Men deck now along with the Ice-Man and Rogue. I haven't really used Iceman yet, but I am sure he works out rather well.

Jerzy, 6-drop Rogue can't be used because Phoenix is sticking to Silver Age.

Phoenix, As for the deck I agree with Trunks. I think Iceman is better at the 6-drop. You are running Mobilize so you could always toolbox and run 1 Colossus and 1 Iceman. I think you should also cut back on your 1-drops. Maybe take out 2 Jubilee and add in 2 Soul World to get around alot of the discarding you will be doing.

Play Mutant Massacre, it's amazing, most of your characters are mutants so mutant massacre would shaft your opponents board pressence.

JerzyHustler- Piccolo-21 took care of that for me. But if it was not SA I would side more toward Rogue.

Piccolo-21- Well I sorta fogot Mobilize is DC as darctrunks pointed. Do you think I should run 4 Worthington? As far as Soul World goes I may put one more in but 2 is over kill I think.

Perpetual151- MM is a great idea but I am not sure what to take out for them do you have any suggestions?

darctrunks- I should have figured that b/c I do that alot but I guess since we were talking about cards my mind auto read it as tech, lol
Anyway, Magik I dont really like b/c my opp can recover a character too and I like to maintian as much board prefrence with X-Men as I can. I will test out the starter Wolverine and see how he works. Both Wolverine have their good sides but I honestly only see the MXM Wolvi having a down side and thats his def.

I like the starte Wolvie because hes starts at 10/9 and can swing up the curve anytime or stun back anytime.

darctrunks- Hes almost I Turnabout himself I just wish the +3/-3 would stay for the turn. I will test play both before the tornement today and see which is better. I am starting to lean toward the starter one though so I guess I will find out which is better soon.

The starter deck wolverine is a good card, I just like the Wolverine best at what he does because it automatically recovers which is a great effect, it makes sure you recover atleast 2 characters even if your board is wiped out.

Perpetual151- Thats also the reason I choose him at first but after testing this morning the starter one proved better to work durning the tornement


Well I won the tornement and got the box of MTU and then traded it for the last EOME I neeeded Mxy, Deathstroke, and a hand full of commons.
My store is having a DC silverage next weekend I am thinking of using either GG or CM/VU. The winner gets a box of DLS

I have had reasonable success with my X-Men energy deck.. it's a curve deck that is fairly consistant, so I quite like it.

It's pretty casual, but I'm quite fond of it. Just for the Xorn, Havok combo, going into Gambit.
