All the Atlanta CC's have used the standard best 2 of 3 format for the finals (except one where the first round of top 8 was single round due to an early venue closing time). However, it seems the majority of CC reports have single round finals. Is this the preferred approach? Is this legal in the tournament rules? I sure would like it if the rounds were 30 minutes instead of an hour because that gets the CC over a lot sooner.
