What are your funniest moments regarding VS?

I was playing a game with a friend and I kept looking at those underworld army 2 drops that you can discard to give -2 def to a character and I was saying that with infinity watch or kimian or something and kept looking at it every 5 minutes and coming up with a new deck idea.

He turned round and said:
"Shut up, every two minutes you're saying (in a high pitched voice) I'm gonna build a Laurel and Hardy Buster Keaton deck"

I near wet myself I thought this was so funny. Imagine:

Discard a bowler hat, search for a Laurel and Hardy character card

Window Escape - Play only when a house falls on you and you're standing in exactly the right place.

Yikes.

It's more cool than funny, and it is insanely synchronistic. Sentinel Damn Nazis come to life before our very eyes... and we didn't even have to pay for the special effects.

And how would you go about that?

I'm playing my Morlocks/X-Men evasion+Seige Perilous deck. Seige Perilous has about 15 counters on it and I have Leech in play and a fistful of cards. My opponent is playing JSA and drops Captain Marvel on 6....

He was owning the game pretty well until he dropped that 1/1 with cost 6 for 6 resource points.

He was actually about to try to Shazam Captain Marvel a second time when I pointed out the Seige Perilous.

GHOSTBUSTERS used the Callisto/Parademon combo. It allows you to infinitely bounce Parademon on turn 6. Unfortunately, Parademon got errata'd right after.

Obviously this was before the Parademon erratta in which you could put his reveal ability on the chain a million times.

Creative use of poorly written cards . . . the bane of competative VS.

You can only use Siege Perilous in the combat stage. He should have just discarded a second time in the build phase for Captain Marvel.

Well, I just couldn't help laughing when I was trading with my friend, I was building a defenders/spider-friends deck and he told me he had a wong, but when I couldn't find it I asked "Dude, where's your Wong?" and he replied by pointing at his crotch. I don't know it might have just been funny for me but it was a good day.

I was playing a multi-player game, using League of Assassins, the other seven were a JLI 4 resource, Zazz/Minion Burn, Arkham, Revenge Squad (I think), X-Men surve highlander, Rigged Elections and Squad. Needless to say, rigged was attacked whenever possible. The funniest part was on about turn 6 or so, when the Squad player was down to 8 END. He ran his Nuke into The Joker, Laughing Lunatic, picked a card, and had chosen....Emperor Joker FTL. It was the only time I've ever seen Emperor Joker used to defeat an opponent.

Once a long time ago when VS had just started, I was playing my TNB deck and by turn 4 I had all 4 TNB's in play and no characters. I missed my 1-4 drops. It was funny to me even though I lost.

a couple of friends and i were bored, so we decided to have a "draft" of just random commons and uncommons from a shoe box. these cards came from pretty much every set, and so we made 14 card "packs" and proceeded to have the most random draft ever. but the best part was when i was playing my best friend afterwards, and i got my secret combo off. i flipped up a doomstadt with no doom characters in my deck, just so i could play a micro-size. you should have seen his face, definitely classic.

honestly, who drafts a doomstadt and a micro-size?
