Well it has been awhile since we have drafted online & now since vsed is up and running now (THANK GOD) we thought we would start drafting. I have run into a huge problem though. Most everyone on aim that i knew isn't playing versus anymore.

so this is a draft for the draft.

If any of you are have troubles downloading or figureing out how to get vsed on your computer aim me & i can help.

I've never done the draft thing with VSEd. Do we have to have our own packs & input them in? How does it work? Do you then play via OCTGN?

no need to own cards with vsed or at least input them. All you have to have is vsed updated through mtu.

Basically while in vsed you click the tools button & join a draft or host a draft. typically you will join a draft. you join a draft from the hosts ip. Anyone that will show up tonight around 7:00 pm pst i will get you my ip so you can log unto vsed.

after we have enough people than we start.

How often will you guys be doing this im down loading AIM at work right now because my Yahoo messenger had a firewall proxy meltdown I really want to do this because I suck at draft

Do you guys play on Octogon after the draft is over?

Some of us will be playing directly after the draft! Yes we all have octgn!

In general thursday night is my family night. I have a 3 year old son & a wife so due to family restraints i will be hosting and drafting but probably not playing. I am willing however to make an appointment with anyone who drafts with us to play the deck we drafted at a later time.

It looks like the numbers are going to be low for this turn out tonight. I don't think we are going to have 8.

One of the reasons I posted this was to try to network with more people so we can do 8 man drafts. It seems most the people i used to draft with are all playing wow.

Well I have a 56k contry modem i will try to down load VSed the problem is that I have yahoo not AIM and my work hates AIM as well as yahoo but I could draft most nights

you really don't need aim!

aim is only there as a means for easy communication. Some people do use yahoo as well.

Most of the people i know who play versus use aim to network for playing online.

The only thing you need is vsed updated & an ip to join. Obviously im not going to give my ip over the thread.

If your have slow connection speed that can screw the draft up while in process. We have had many problems with the draft freezing for numerous reasons.

also we are going to try to set up something for next week as well. So if you miss this one don't fret.
