I heard about a city champs deck that used these two, and I thought I saw someone that said that crisis somehow shuts off divinitie's effect to have to ko a doom character or a resource, if this is possible how so?

It doesn't work anymore. Divinity got errated to have to KO herself if you don't KO a resource or Doom character.

well then in that case, how did it work, and when was the announcement of this errata?

I wasn't able to access Realms from my school until just recently, so I'm not sure when the errata came up but it was fairly recent (within like 2 weeks I think).

How it worked was you would choose to KO a Doom character, and since Crisis removed the Doom affiliation you lost nothing from Divinity.
