The flaw is, the 10k World's Finest Team Sealed is set for July 6-8, the second weekend in July. While normally that would be perfectly fine, this time, not so. On that same website, it says: World’s Finest Release Celebration: July 2007
This means that it would have to take place one week prior to the Team Sealed, right? Well, bad news, that weekend in July is a Sunday, the 1st. So, how is that gonna work? Is the Release Celebration gonna be on the same day as the team sealed? Will the Release Celebration need to be moved to mid-June? Possibly the Team Sealed will be Marvel Team-Up (YAY!)? Comment appreciated.
Uh maybe you don't understand that there is no more sneak preview, Coolexplosion? The release celebration celebrates the RELEASE of the set so the set will be OUT all ready and there will be no conflict what so ever?
The release celebration are usually the same week as the release. So the set gets here in June-July. The release celebration should be that weekend. Vssystem.com states these will take place in July. So it will be July 1st (Sunday) or the same weekend of the 10k.

That I understand but, we won't have the full spoiler until it's officially released. So, according to UDE, Release Celebration is in July. It can't be just on that Sunday July 1, it wouldn't make sense. So, what's on par to happen is the set's gonna be released July 7, same day of the 10k. It's gonna be the slowwwwesssst 10k ever at that rate.
I believe the set gets release on June 26. So the release tournaments should be June 30-July 1st. This only gives players playing in the 10k a week to see the cards. It usually takes me at least a month to learn most of the cards. So a lot of players will be seeing cards for the first time.
well has anyone ever played in a team 10k? Then you have no idea just how long they can be... take for instance 10k indy 11 hours to play ten rounds. By the by you will get a week to prepare with the new set as the release will be on the first.
The release celebration could be the same weekend as the 10K. UDE has had a sneak preview/release celebration be the same weekend as a major tournament before. For example, during the Mega PCQ in St. Louis at the end of February, Yugi had a Shonen Jump and Sneak Preview the same weekend at the same location.
The Team 10k at Indy though surprised me a bit. Almost all the players there were very familiar with the cards. Although, most of the people who entered that were people who didn't Day 2 at the PC so, obviously they had prepared to draft Infinite Crisis (DCR). The difference here is, anybody can enter this thing, not just pros. Pros will, for the sake of money, take the time to memorize each card in a set and evaluate it. Other people though, don't have that kind of time, especially since Crisis had been out 3 months already when the Team 10k was held. This is a recipe for a loooong day.
Also, the Release Celebration is supposed to be held in July, not June. So, having it on June 30 IS NOT a possibility. Also, on the website it just says July, not a specific date. Uh oh.
When they first spoke of the mega weekend they said that the 10k is the week AFTER the release of the set.
On the website though (one I have in the first post, Vssystem.com), it says Release Celebration in July. And they can't have it on a Sunday only with no Saturday option. So, that's the $10,000 question right now.
Ok, so is that big of a stretch to belive that the use of "July" wasn't ment to be so specific, and they could have the release celebration as an option for the first day of july or the last day of june.
Also, Release Celebrations are not the same as the old Release Events. They are being held shorty after the official street release of the set, rather than before, as WF is set for street release I belive on June 26th, although I don't remeber now where exactly I read that.

It's a tight schedule for sure either way.
July is just supposed to mean July. It means anywhere between July 1 and July 31.
