The Marvel Team-Up Alter Ego Marquee Event is coming to a store near you! From June 15 through July 1, stores will be holding Constructed tournaments that use these new Alter Ego cards in which only the Marvel Team-Up set is legal. Players may choose any one of the eight different Alter Egos to bring to the tournament. Each Alter Ego has a “personality”—its individual starting endurance and a power that bends the rules of the game—that affects the game from the outset. Figure out which Alter Ego card best complements your favorite deck, or better yet, design a deck to take advantage of your favorite Alter Ego! You can print out these Alter Ego cards from the PDF files below, and official UDE oversized versions will be given out to top finishers.

Ya i have been out of town for the last 5 days, and just looking. I spent about 30 mins on this site trying to fig out why there was not a thread for it.
Oh and above i did edit in what the alter ego cards are. Sandman looks silly.
aside from the lack of a side deck, this reminds me alot of the sensei deck cards that were in the DBZ/GT tcg.
in such a limited formate, it wouldn't be a killer to "sensei"-in cards between rounds right?
Looks like a crap-ton of fun. I would love to play, but I'm pretty sure I'll run into the same problems I fear most players will. This event runs on the three worst weekends. Elite Series and pre-release. Hopefully they will be planned around them.
Very cool, this seems like it could be a lot of fun ... and this might be hinting at what is coming with the Legend sets perhaps? However, I feel these are designed with this set in mind ... in a larger format there would definately be some problems. But I would love to have an X-Statix Hulk deck ;)
