There were some good points in there about casual vs competitive, how to build a player base, correction of prizing for HL events, possible broken Random Punks deck and grammar/spelling etiquette. If you read past the hate... you get some pretty good points.

Silence erick to speak against the controllers is sanctionable. You have been warned. Rational and heated debate over crucial issues is of little concern when someones' feeling may be at risk. We are not adults who can just walk away from the screen or click another button if we do not like what we see. There was like two semi-good points in that thread, the rest of it was garbage. Kudos to the mods for getting rid of it.

There was exiled talking about how UDE should take a look at his pwnage deck.

There was aces talking about how he thinks pwnage decks stifles his efforts to grow hobby league.

There was Ranma telling aces that he is not the god of VS.

There was Prosak telling aces that he is the devil of grammar and spelling.

There was aces telling everyone else off (which is rare coming from him).

There was Tommy saying something of wisdom (which is why I need to see the thread again because I forgot what he said).

There was BigSpooky commenting on how high-level prize support for low-level tournaments is contradictory.

And the best yet... there was stu and me not even flaming each other.

Or how you can grow a hobby league even if people bring competitive decks?

Or how VS was touted as a competitive game for the last 3 years and now they have to make it a casual game but how they can do that effectively?

It was chock full of nuttiness... you just had to skip over the filter-fooling parts.

There was no discussion. There was Aces and then there was 20 people insulting him and then there was about 5 people talking about something else.

I'm all for a good debate, but that wasn't it.

It was like watching Springer for relationship advice.

Everyone lost the flame war, since Prosak came with a water cannon.

There was the issue of banning for Random Punks. There was some rather intelligent writing, especially by RanmaSolo and tashton.
