I will need the Newsboys for fodder in Modern, Especially with Home Sweet Home, but I heart this card most of all:
Kimiyo Hoshi <> Dr. Light, Sunburst
3
Outsiders, JLI
Whenever Kimiyo Hoshi team attacks, you may stun target non-defending character with cost less than the number of attackers.
F/R
4/4
DWF-094 R
That seems pretty sick with a swarm. Technocrat for extra cards, then Search and Destroy the original defender and Infestation for the win.
How about you? Which ones are a must-test in your neck of the woods?
The Insiders, Team-Up
2
Plot Twist
Play only if you control an Outsiders character. Ongoing: Affiliated character cards you own gain the Outsiders affiliation.
DWF-117 C
Outsiders Wildpack with a splash of any one else i need
Outsiders definitely look to be the team most easily made into a contender. I have a soft spot in my heart for Superman, so I'll try my best to get them to work.
I'm gonna try and build as many BoP team-up decks as I can.
Bless your little heart.
First thing first I'm going to bulk up my GA SuperClones and Revenge Squad decks. From there I'll work on a Gotham Knights/Birds stallfest, although I'm not sure what the win condition will be. "Pissing off my opponents" seems to be the real goal here.
I'm still thinking of what to do with Outsiders. I'm almost thinking of teaming them up with X-Statix.
New Gotham Knights FTW.
I'm working on the 52 Set Up for GK right now...
turn 3- Reene Montoya
turn 4- Question
turn 5- Kate Kane
That stuff is ridicilous
I'm also looking forward to splashing together Revenge Squad with Villains United for Silver Age.
But I'll be building like three Gotham-ish decks from this set. I LOVE GK...
I'm thinking Concealed Batman on 4, John Henry Irons on 5 to attach the Batarang to Batman, which would mean a Team Superman/Gotham Knights teamup which is what I wanted to build in the first place.
In one of the previews, a reviewer mentioned 'picking up' a Superman/Batman deck and beating the heck out of his opponent. That's the next project.
Heck, BOP and Outsiders up curve craziness. The -3/+3 concealed-optional characters and the +2 going up curve characters are all pretty good at swinging up, especially if you toss in all the up curve plot twists out there.
