OK, I know we've only just had the CC stuff unveiled, but seeing the Joker playmat got me wondering: What will UDE do for the DWF Punks playmat?

Personally, I reckon it could be Commisioner Gordon.

I didn't realize that Punks was a continuous format. I thought it was just a marquee event, like the new Build A Legend thing will be.

And like the Alter Ego thing was.

You are correct, we may not get Random Punks but twice a year or something. Build a Legend will prolly replace it for Marvel Legends for sure. It seems that World's Finest may only get Release and Cities, without the alternate format because of the delay. Eventually, hopefully, it will come back. However, we should ALWAYS identify the Random Punk in each set regardless.

From what I remember from Miranda's posts, Random Punks was a Beatdown event, and the Beatdown events will change their format every release, and be custom for each release.

Each Release is suppossed to have:
1 Release Celebration (first month of release)
1 Beatdown Event like Alter-Ego, Random Punks, Insanity (second month of release)
1 City Championship (third month of release, always to be silver age)

This is what I have gathered. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

(Insanity is something Miranda mentioned in one of her posts, though it hasn't happened...yet)
